Question 1

Is the butta motif printed or woven?

Accepted Answer

In our Cotton Handloom Butta sarees, the motifs are WOVEN into the fabric using extra-weft threads. You can see the same motif on the reverse side of the saree.

Question 2

Will the buttas come off in wash?

Accepted Answer

No — because they are woven in, not embroidered or printed, they are as permanent as the base fabric.
